Recently, the Haryana Panchayati Raj (Second Amendment) Bill, 2020 was passed by the Haryana State Legislative  Assembly. 

In this bill, for recalling members of Panchayati Raj Institutions for electors
Right to Recall has been granted. The purpose of this amendment is to increase accountability for the voters of the panchayat members. 
 
Key Points:

In addition to Right to Recall in this bill, rural bodies provision of 50% reservation for women has also been provided. 

Apart from this, 8% reservation was provided to the more disadvantaged sections within the backward classes (OBCs).

To recall members and sarpanch of Panchayati Raj bodies, 50% of the members of Gram Sabha have to give it in writing.

After this, a secret ballot will be held, in which two-thirds of the voters cast their votes. He will be relieved if he votes against.
