Jharkhand Legislative Assembly passed a resolution demanding 'Sarna Code' for tribals. This proposal was brought by the Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In this proposal, there has been a demand to create separate special columns for the tribals who follow the Sarna Dharma in the census of 2021. Now this offer
Will be sent to the central government.

About the Sarna Dharma/Religion

Adivasis who follow Sarna Dharma, worship nature, do not consider themselves Hindus. They are demanding special status for themselves from a very long time, it is noteworthy that at present Sarna Dharma is not given the status of religion. In the year 2011 also, the Scheduled Tribes Commission recommended the inclusion of the Sarna Code but it was not accepted.

What is 'Sanjha Chulha Yojna' of Madhya Pradesh?

Sanjha chulha Yojana of madhya pradesh Sanjha Chulha yojana was started to ensure food security to the families of Sahariya tribe in Morena district by Akash Tripathi (Collector Morena) by the state government, Sanjha Chulha was started in 29 villages in 3 blocks of Morena district.
