Recently, The National Common Mobility card (NCMC) has been expanded to Airport Express Line of Delhi Metro by Prime Minister Modi. Under this, Rupay debit card issued within 18 months from 23 banks can pay for metro travel.

National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) has been applied across the country by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to make travel uninterrupted, 
Apart from retail shopping and paying for other transport systems in various metros.

The National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is an automated fare collection system. This system convert smartphone into inter operable transport card (IOTC), Which is used to pay for various passenger, metro, bus and suburban railway services. 

Through this interoperable transport card (IOTC), One can also withdraw money from bus travel, toll tax, parking fee payment, retail shopping and account.
